Corporal Lonnie Lejeune died as a result of contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.

Corporal Lejeune was a United States Navy veteran who served with the Missouri State Highway Patrol for 26 years and was assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division. He is survived by his wife, two sons, a brother, and two sisters.
