Lietutenant Colonel Martin A. Mleczko, Jr. is a highly decorated and accomplished combat military veteran and law enforcement professional with over 25+ years of experience. Currently appointed as Assistant Chief of the Nevada Highway Patrol, Martin brings a diverse multi-disciplinary background and a demonstrated passion for traffic safety, healthy employees, and healthy communities. Martin previously served as the Deputy Chief (Major) responsible for the leadership and management of Southern Nevada. He also served in headquarters as the Chief of Staff while concurrently serving as the Executive Officer to the 25th Colonel of the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Martin holds dual Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Despite his extensive workload, he maintains his rich advocacy for personal care and professional development, supports multiple organizations, and holds several government, association, and non-profit board positions.
