On January 31, Tom Foster, AAMVA’s Law Enforcement Program Manager, spoke to the National Sheriff’s Association, Traffic Safety Committee during their annual meeting in Washington, D.C. Tom presented on Fraud Detection and Remediation (FDR) training and AAMVA’s creation of video modules for law enforcement. AAMVA's Law Enforcement Programs and Services team is providing FDR material to law enforcement to aid them in authenticating identity credentials and to detect fraud. This information will assist law enforcement in their daily interactions with identity credentials and help prepare them for interacting with citizens from across the world who are attending the 2026 FIFA World Cup and future Olympic games.
