Electra Bustle

Electra Bustle is the Senior Director for the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Revenue. She has served in this role since July 2022. The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles administers the identification, driver, and vehicle services for the State of Colorado, as well as the Motor Vehicle Investigations Unit (MVIU), maintaining driver records, licensing and auditing vehicle emission-testing program, administering the International Registration Plan, and the ignition interlock program.

Electra moved to Colorado in 2016, as the Chief of Staff for the Colorado Department of Public Safety Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and later she was appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Department.

Prior to moving to Colorado, Electra spent a nearly three-decade career in Florida where she held positions at the Florida Sheriffs Association, Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement. She also led Florida's DMV, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV), that included the Florida Highway Patrol, Division of Driver Licensing, and Division of Motor Vehicles.

Electra has her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and JD from Florida State University, College of Law.
