Lisa Chism holds the title of Director, Office of Property Tax, Mississippi Department of Revenue. She began her career with the Mississippi Department of Revenue in May 2000 as an auditor for the Motor Vehicle Licensing Bureau. An opportunity arose for her to change jobs and, after five and half (5 ½) years with the agency, she became the E-file Coordinator for the Department of Revenue. She served as the e-file coordinator from September 2006 thru January 2008. On February 1, 2008, Lisa accepted the position for the Individual Income Tax Division Director where she served until June 2011, when she became director for the Title Bureau. In 2019 Lisa became the Director of the Office of Property Tax. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.
