Over her 22 years at the Idaho Transportation Department, Lisa McClellan has built a reputation as a dedicated and transformative leader. Lisa started at ITD in the financial services section dedicated to DMV among other programs, later promoted to the Revenue Operations Manager before switching managerial roles from fiscal to DMV.
She was Operations Manager and the first Deputy Administrator for DMV. Four years ago, Lisa was asked to serve as the DMV Administrator before stepping into her current role as the ITD Chief Administrative Officer.
Throughout her career, she has championed customer focused service improvements, process efficiencies that strengthened organizational credibility statewide, and supported teams across ITD in delivering meaningful achievements for Idahoans.
Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to public service, collaboration, and innovation, helping guide ITD through major transitions while continuing to empower staff and elevate the department’s mission.
