Patrick Sarginson joined Manitoba Public Insurance in 2013, and became Manitoba’s Registrar of Motor Vehicles in 2020. His responsibilities include oversight of Manitoba’s driver and vehicle legislation including the registration system; driver training, testing, licensing and identity verification; vehicle safety and inspection programs; and road safety programming.
Patrick holds a Master’s in Public Administration, a post-grad diploma in program evaluation, and has a Certified Insurance Professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada. He lives in Winnipeg with his wife, 6-year old son, and golden doodle. He spends his free time listening to podcasts, wandering with his dog, and dreaming of a day when the Winnipeg Jets win the Stanley Cup.
