Ryan Parry

Ryan Parry serves as Director of Transport Services and Registrar of Motor Vehicles for the Yukon Territory, where he provides leadership for motor vehicle administration, road safety initiatives, transportation policy, and regulatory programs.
 
Since 2018, Ryan has represented Yukon on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators (CCMTA), working with provincial, territorial, and federal partners to advance national transportation safety priorities and modernize motor vehicle administration across Canada. He has served as Chair of CCMTA's Strategic Programs Committee and as a member of the Audit and Finance Committee. Ryan also chaired CCMTA's National Task Force on Stolen Vehicles, leading a pan-Canadian effort to strengthen vehicle information sharing across borders, combat vehicle theft, and address vehicle identification number (VIN) fraud.
 
Through his work with CCMTA and AAMVA, Ryan has been actively engaged in advancing road safety, motor vehicle administration, identity and data integrity initiatives, and cross-border collaboration. He has represented Canadian jurisdictions at national and international forums, including participation at the AAMVA Global Summit, where he contributed to discussions on stolen vehicle prevention and inter-jurisdictional cooperation.
 
Ryan holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from Lakehead University. He is committed to fostering strong partnerships across North America and advancing innovative, collaborative approaches to transportation safety and motor vehicle administration.
