Wanda brings a unique blend of leadership skills to her position with 37 years of state service which has provided her the relevant understanding to lead the department as Commissioner for the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles. Wanda was appointed by Governor Scott in 2018 as Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. Commissioner Minoli manages a state department with approximately a $35 million annual budget and a workforce of over 225 employees and her department processes over one million transactions annually. Commissioner Minoli oversees the collection of approximately $340 million in revenue annually which supports a significant portion of the State’s transportation fund.
During Minoli’s tenure at DMV she has demonstrated through her leadership the opportunities for this organization to modernize IT systems and create new opportunities for Vermont residents to receive services. Through her leadership the VTDMV will continue to spearhead complex modernization efforts that advance the department IT infrastructure enhancing the customer's experience while gaining operational efficiencies. Prior to her appointment at DMV, Commissioner Minoli managed the State School Construction program for the Agency of Education for over 10 years. In the late 90’s and for 20 years of her career she served as the Principal Assistant to the Commissioner and as Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Buildings and General Services.
