Wayne Hamric is the Administrator of the Office of Driver Service and Motor Vehicle (DSMV) for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA). Hamric has been employed by the State of Arkansas since July 2009, and represents DFA by collaborating with legislators to modernize state laws to meet the current needs of the industry as well as provide an outlet for consumers to obtain assistance. In 2017, he and his DSMV team were the recipients of the Citizen Service and Efficiency Award for Government Transformation and in 2019 recognized and honored with the Governor’s Award for digital transformation with their marketing campaign, Mydmv.arkansas.gov.
In 2003, Hamric completed his certification requirements for Human Resource Law for Managers from the Courtney Anderson Firm and in 2019 he completed the University of Arkansas Sam Walton College of Business Executive Education in Business Foundations. He has served as Vice President of the Lonoke County Council on Aging and board member for the Wade Knox Children’s Advocacy Center. He is the current Arkansas voting delegate for the International Registration Plan (IRP).
