Darcy Doty is AAMVA's Vice President of Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Operations and Customer Experience. Before starting here in March 2025, Darcy worked as the Director, Customer Services with the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), where she led 200 employees statewide focusing on the customer experience for driver and identification services as well as vehicle and motor carrier services. Prior to that, Darcy served as the Education and Information Manager for the Motor Vehicle Division, and Director of Student Programs at Drake University. She has over 20 years of experience in organizational performance, systems thinking, root-cause analysis, leadership coaching, process improvement, and program assessment. Darcy has a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Secondary Education, World History and American History, a Master of Public Administration, a Specialist of Education Leadership, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
