Emily Pura is the Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development for AAMVA. Before assuming her current role, Emily served as Director of Human Resources at the association for nine years. As Vice President, she leads AAMVA’s people-focused human resources and organizational development strategies in alignment with the association’s strategic framework and key objectives.
Before joining AAMVA, Emily served on the leadership team of Lee Technologies (prior to acquisition by Schneider Electric) where she managed the company’s human resources and administrative divisions. Her previous experience includes recruiting coordinator for AMS (now CGI), administration with the Century Council, and she holds certifications in HR and 401(k) plan management.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from George Mason University and has completed master’s HR Management courses at Marymount University.
