Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier was struck and killed by a truck while conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in Southington, Connecticut. The truck driver was impaired at the time of the collision. His K9, Roso, was in the cruiser when it was struck, but was not injured. Trooper Pelletier is survived by his wife and two children.
