AAMVA supports and endorses the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) North American Standard Inspection program as a supplement to a jurisdiction’s Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection (PMVI) program or Periodic Inspection (PI) program for commercial motor vehicles.
