Jeff Oberdank, AAMVA's Portfolio Director for Driver Programs and Services, represented AAMVA at the 2026 CIECA International Congress in Germany — joining government agencies from around the world to tackle some of the most important topics in driver licensing and road safety. The agenda covered hazard perception training, the unique challenges facing aging drivers and those who are medically at risk, and evolving best practices in driver education. AAMVA is proud to collaborate internationally and bring those insights home to benefit jurisdictions across North America.
