AAMVA is pleased to join the Road to Zero coalition (RTZ) and others in advocating for transportation safety during infrastructure week in Washington DC. AAMVA and other safety-conscious organizations will spend the week having discussions with Congress and sharing the stories of victim advocates on why improvements and investment in transportation safety are critical to moving the needle on needless and preventable deaths resulting from crashes. U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Secretary Pete Buttigieg addressed the RTZ coalition at its annual meeting to kick off the week and detail the USDOTs vision for safety.
