Patrice Aasmo, AAMVA’s Director of Member Services for Regions 1 and 2, spent time with the Alabama Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) in Montgomery last week. Discussions covered a wide array of topics, including education and training, recruitment and retention, use of artificial intelligence, and license plates with MVD; employee safety and wellness, upcoming federal mandates, system upgrades, card design and mobile driver licenses with ALEA.
