On Wednesday, May 22, Julie Knittle, AAMVA's Director of Member Support for Regions 3 and 4, and Brian Ursino, AAMVA's Director of Law Enforcement Programs, met with Montana Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) Director Laurie Bakri and members of her staff. In the afternoon, they met with Montana Highway Patrol (MHP) Colonel Kurt Sager and members of his staff. In addition to discussing AAMVA resources each agency could leverage to help accomplish their missions, additional issues of mutual concern, such as Montana’s planned 2025 deployment of their mobile driver’s license were discussed. Between morning and afternoon meetings, Julie hosted a joint MVD/MHP lunch.
