Julie Knittle, AAMVA’s Director of Member Support for Regions 3 & 4 and Sruti Singaraju, Sr. Manager, visited Director Jeannelle Yitagesu and her leadership team from the South Dakota Department of Public Safety Driver Licensing. AAMVA highlighted programs and resources available to the South Dakota DPS and discussions covered topics including customer service, best practices, identity management, system modernization, and priorities for the upcoming year. The afternoon included a more in-depth discussion specifically on IT systems and CDL mandates and best practices. The day also included a group lunch and tour of the new One Stop office.
