On Tuesday, March 4, Lori Daigle and Tim Roufa of the AAMVA Identity Management Programs and Services team traveled to Anchorage to receive the mDL public key from the Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles for inclusion in the AAMVA Digital Trust Service (DTS). Alaska becomes the sixth U.S. state to fully participate in the DTS. The addition of the largest U.S. state to the DTS signals the continued growth of the mDL ecosystem in North America and greatly increases the availability and usability of safes, secure, trusted, and interoperable digital credentials.
