AAMVA congratulates South Dakota for successfully implementing the Medical Examiner Certification Integration Final Rule (NRII) solution. All the implementation activities have been completed on schedule, and the CDLIS and S2S services are now fully operational. Starting June 20, 2025, South Dakota will begin receiving medical certification information electronically from the National Registry. South Dakota is now able to inquire the National Registry for a driver's medical certification information.
