Effective October 1, 2024, AAMVA will launch a new time and expense reimbursement system called DATABASICS. This solution will facilitate an improved travel reimbursement process and come with these added benefits: 

• Elimination of paper reimbursement requests  
• Transparency to expense reimbursement statuses 
• User friendly interfaces 
• Electronic delivery of payments 
• Mobile app capabilities 

Between now and September 18, 2024, expense reimbursement requests will be processed using the current paper format. Any expense reimbursement requests submitted after September 18, 2024, will be returned and required to be submitted in DATABASICS on or after October 1, 2024.
