AAMVA has published a new Multi-stage Vehicles Best Practices Guide (July 2026) from the Vehicle Committee's Multi-stage Vehicle Working Group. Developed with jurisdiction members, NHTSA, and industry partners, the guide offers best practices for titling, registration, VIN and MCO handling, fraud mitigation, and manufacturer/dealer licensing for multi-stage vehicles like motorhomes, ambulances, and commercial trucks.
