The State-to-State (S2S) Subcommittee met in Savannah, Georgia last week. The group was comprised of jurisdictional experts and AAMVA staff. Topics covered in the meeting included developing S2S procedures for managing “Failure To Appear” and “Failure To Pay” violations in the S2S Driver History Record (DHR) and discussing the challenges associated with transmitting conviction and withdrawal information outside of S2S. The group discussed maintaining a repository available to S2S participants indicating which jurisdictions allow the issuance of multiple credentials to individuals. The subcommittee also provided input on best practices for educating jurisdictions on staff training for duplicate record resolution and planning for future S2S User Group meetings.
