Rates and Reservations
AAMVA's group rate is $219 CAD (Canadian Dollars) plus taxes (currently 12%). AAMVA's rate is available three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after the conference based on availability. Make your hotel reservation online or call the reservation desk at 1.888.236.2427 for assistance and reference "AAMVA 2024 Region 4 Conference."
The cut-off date for hotel reservations at AAMVA’s group rate is Monday, July 1, 2024. AAMVA is unable to secure additional rooms at the room group beyond the reservation cut-off date, or if the room block sells out before the cut-off date.
*Hotel Reservations Policy: Region 4 Conference registration is required to reserve a hotel room within the AAMVA Region 4 room block at the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District. Any hotel reservation made using the AAMVA Region 4 Conference rate without a corresponding conference registration may result in cancellation of the hotel reservation.
Getting to Edmonton
The Edmonton International Airport (YEG) is approximately 31.1 kilometers, or 19.32 miles, from the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District Hotel. Taxis are available at the airport and the cost will be approximately $90 CAD. Uber & Lyft are also available at the airport and will cost approximately $45 CAD.

Travel Assistance
The Region 4 Board of Directors has authorized travel assistance to cover expenses for one (1) person from each Region 4 jurisdiction agency (DMV and law enforcement) to attend the Region 4 Conference. The assistance can be used to cover travel, registration, hotel, and other reasonable expenses to attend the event. All travel expenses are on a reimbursable basis unless prior arrangements and approval is received for this event. Please refer to AAMVA’s travel policy. Expense reimbursement forms will be emailed to administrators for distribution prior to the conference. Please contact us below with any questions.
