On November 20, 2024, Marcy Coleman, AAMVA's Vehicle Program Manager, spoke on a panel at the Mileage-Based User Fee Alliance (MBUFA) conference in Washington, DC. The panel addressed data, DMVs, and AI in the area of alternative infrastructure funding. The conference brought together both government and private sector participants to review past pilots, discuss lessons learned and propose options for a federal mileage-based user fee pilot.
