Paul Steier, AAMVA’s Director of Vehicle Programs, participated in a panel discussion during the SAE Government/Industry Meeting in Washington, DC, on January 30. The session focused on policy gaps and industry needs for automated driving system safety in the U.S. and Internationally. Paul discussed the research and recommendations contained in AAMVA’s Guidelines for Regulating Vehicles with Automated Driving Systems, Edition 4.
