Paul Steier, AAMVA's Director of Vehicle Programs and Services, attended the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting from January 6-8 in Washington, DC. Paul participated on a panel to discuss perspectives on regulatory challenges with remote automated vehicle operations. This session was a continuation of a prior discussion organized by the TRB International Working Group on Connected and Automated Vehicles. Paul also attended many other sessions during the Annual Meeting focused on transportation safety, efficiency, and innovation.
