AAMVA’s Vehicle Program Manager, Marcy Coleman, attended the Road User Charging USA Conference from May 23–24, in Miami, FL. This conference brought together experts from around the country to discuss challenges and opportunities in finding viable alternatives for infrastructure funding. During the conference Marcy presented a session entitled, “State DMVs: Paving the Road to RUC” which explored the critical role of DMVs in the successful implementation of RUC schemes. The conference also explored lessons learned from the tolling industry and highlighted road user charging programs in Utah, Oklahoma, and Hawaii.
