On June 11, 2024, some of the AAMVA team took advantage of being in Denver for the International Board of Directors meeting and conducted a Colorado jurisdiction visit. Ian Grossman, AAMVA's President & CEO; Julie Knittle, AAMVA's Regional Director of Member Support for Regions 3 and 4; and Brian Ursino, AAMVA's Director of Law Enforcement Programs, first met with Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Director Electra Bustle and Deputy Sr. Director Melissa Lineberger to discuss program updates and priorities in Colorado. They then met with Colorado State Patrol Colonel Matthew Packard at the State Patrol Academy, where they discussed current law enforcement trends and strategies to continue meaningful collaboration between our motor vehicle administrator and law enforcement members.
