Patrice Aasmo, AAMVA's Director of Member Support for Regions 1 & 2; Mike McCaskill, AAMVA’s Director of Identity Management Programs; and Paul Steier, AAMVA’s Director of Vehicle Programs, visited the New York Department of Motor Vehicles and the New York State Police last week in Albany, New York. Attendees in both agencies included executives, business unit leads, and managers. AAMVA staff provided updates on programs and resources available to members, benefits of collaboration with various stakeholders, as well as further opportunities for AAMVA engagement. Following the updates, the group had more detailed discussions on investigations, vehicles registration and titling, operations and customer service, driver licensing, and identity management.
