From June 25–27, AAMVA hosted the 2024 Region 2 Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, ending with the swearing in of the new Region 2 Board of Directors and their president, Jeffrey Dixon (Florida). There were 484 registered attendees, including 162 jurisdiction members from 14 jurisdictions. Members attended sessions on hot topics, including customer service, data management, electric vehicles, license plate readers, identity management/mDL, recruitment & retention, and more. Along with learning opportunities, the conference provided the chance to network and consult with peers, and to connect with industry partners to discover business solutions.
