AAMVA Code Dictionary (ACD) Subcommittee

AAMVA’s Code Dictionary (ACD) Subcommittee is comprised of jurisdiction members from U.S. states who examine and update the AAMVA Code Dictionary, which is a set of codes used nationwide by driver licensing authorities to communicate a driver’s convictions and withdrawals between jurisdictions. The subcommittee addresses known limitations, prioritizes enhancement needs, and identifies opportunities for improving the set of codes and the operational procedures and best practices associated with such codes.

The ACD Subcommittee is comprised of jurisdictional representatives. Each representative is tasked with communicating information discussed by the ACD Subcommittee to their assigned states. Please see below for the assignments.
