AAMVA's Soctt Vien and Tim Roufa visited the Commonwealth of Kentucky to receive the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's public key for their mobile driver license (mDL) solution for inclusion in the AAMVA Digital Trust Service. The key handover ceremony occurred on Wednesday, September 16 at Kentucky DOTC headquarters in Frankfort. Kentucky is the 14th jurisdiction to join the DTS, and the 5th to join in 2026. Kentucky's addition to the DTS demonstrates how mDLs are accelerating and how AAMVA is helping its members grow mDL acceptance in North America.
