Multistage Vehicle Working Group Listening Session
What do you do when a customer presents two MSOs listing different models and different model years all for the same vehicle? Welcome to the world of multi-stage vehicles. Fire apparatus, motor homes, buses, and garbage trucks are just a few examples of multi-stage vehicles. AAMVA's Multi-Stage Vehicle Working Group has spent the year looking at the unique aspects of these vehicles including dealer licensing, warranty and recalls, and the titling and registration process. REST Transition for Driver Systems
This session will be informative for states who have not yet made plans for their conversion to REST. Specifics will be provided on availability of resources for CDLIS, S2S, PDPS, and CSTIMS. The session will be an opportunity for AAMVA staff to share the urgency of making the changes and to listen to concerns and challenges states may face in meeting the January 2028 deadline.
mDL Ecosystem Updates
In this session you will hear the latest in all things mDL including ISO 18013 parts 5 and 7, AAMVA mDL Implementation Guidelines, relying party outreach and education, Digital Trust Service (DTS) updates, and a summary of the mDL Relying Party Demonstration event held September 7th and 8th.
