Public Affairs and Consumer Education (PACE) Awards

These awards recognize public relations, public affairs, and consumer education excellence among the motor vehicle, law enforcement, and traffic safety agencies across North America. They recognize creativity, cost effectiveness, and the ability to reach consumers with a well crafted, measured, and executed message in the following areas below.

Category Awards are presented at the recipient’s regional conference. Division awards are presented to the highest scoring category winner in each division and are presented at the Annual International Conference. PACE awards entries can be submitted to multiple divisions but no one entry can be submitted for more than one category within each division. Each jurisdiction may submit seven total entries for PACE awards, excluding the PACE Overall Campaign Award.

Presented to a jurisdiction for a full multi-faceted campaign under $50k and over $50k

Division 1: Print & Electronic Publications

Presented for print or electronic newsletter, print or electronic media kit, other print or electronic publications

Division 2: Visual Arts

Presented for logo, photography, display, and digital graphics

Division 3: Advertising

Presented for TV commercial or PSA, externally produced and internally produced, radio commercial or PSA, externally or internally produced, indoor...

Division 4: Special Events

Presented for media event/press day and non-media event

Division 5: Video

Presented for video internally produced and externally produced

Division 6: Writing

Presented for news release, blog, feature story, story placement in publication, and speech

Division 7: Websites & Technology

Presented for website internally and externally produced, interactive presentation, use of social media
